Crime: 20 March 2008

 

Anti social crime still - very few burglaries.  If, the weather turns nice and you do some gardening, please lock those side doors and make sure back doors and windows are locked if you are in other rooms. Keep safe and remain alert remember the basic principles of home security.

 

CRIME:

BOYN HILL:

18/3 4.45 a.m. Westborough Road. Car was stolen, driven a hundred yards and crashed into a road sign.

17/3 - 18/3 Boyn Valley Road. Windscreen of a car smashed.

19/3 5.30 - 6.30 p.m.. Clare Road. Entry via insecure rear window - cigarettes, jewellery and perfume stolen.

 

BELMONT:

19/3 6.55 p.m. Hargrave Road. Owner heard front door being kicked. Went downstairs and found door open disturbing the offenders. 4 men arrested outside.

18/3 - 19/3 Portlock Road. Van broken into and tools stolen.

 

BISHAM:

1/3 - 8/3 Lee Lane. Attempted burglary - door handle forced. No entry gained.

 

COX GREEN:

19/3 1.30 a.m. Lillibrook Crescent. Owner heard a noise and went downstairs. Lights were on and front door was open. Offenders had entered using an implement through the letterbox - they made off immediately they were disturbed.

 

HOLYPORT:

19/3 3.20 a.m. Hearne Drive. Owner heard a noise and went downstairs. He could see someone sitting in his car a BMW 325i series. He ran out pulled the lad from the car who immediately made off to a dark coloured Audi in which an accomplice was sitting. BMW 325i car targeted in Windsor last week !

18/3 - 19/3 Stompits Road. Index plates stolen from a car.

 

COOKHAM:

17/3 - 18/3 Broom Hill. Rear passenger wheel stolen from a Vauxhall Corsa. Last week the car was keyed.

 

FURZE PLATT:

17/3 - 18/3 Camden Road. Car entered by unknown means - nothing stolen.

16/3 - 17/3 Furze Platt Road. Car door damaged around the lock. No entry gained. A few weeks ago the index plates stolen.

 

HURLEY:

16/3 - 18/3 Caravan park, Mill Lane. Looks as if someone has broken into and been living in one of the chalets.
