his message is dated Wednesday 26th March for Maidenhead.
We had quite a busy weekend and burglaries did take place.
CRIME:
OLDFIELD:
21/3 2.15 a.m. Greenfields. Owner and friend walked home and then heard
a noise at the front door. A stick had been put through the letterbox to
try and open the door. They shouted and the offenders made off. I have a
contact who receives Ringmaster messages who is part of the security
industry and he advises everyone with an 'open letter plate' a normal
letterbox to fit either a security hood or a deflector. Both are easily
obtainable and easy to fit. It would end anything like this immediately.
25/3 8 p.m. Cannon Hill Drive. Attempt to force the front door. The
alarm sounded and the offenders immediately made off.
BOYN HILL:
16/3 - 24/3 Fairacre. Car broken into - nothing stolen. This road is
being targeted. Previously on the 14/3 17/18 -3.
COOKHAM:
25/3 1 - 1.15 a.m. Odney Lane. Caretaker heard a noise and went to
investigate. He found lead from the roof all rolled up ready to go. He had
disturbed the offenders, heard a car screeching away, but did not see it.
Were you in the area ? Did you see a car acting suspiciously ?
LEAD HAS GONE ACROSS WINDSOR AND OLD WINDSOR - NOT CHURCHES THIS TIME
BUT GARAGES - ROOFS FROM 10 GARAGES AT A TIME !!! Can everyone be very
aware of any lead around them and keep an eye on it - [particularly
strange vans at strange times of night - that would be a 999
HURLEY:
21/3 - 22/3 Diamond Cottages. Car window smashed - Sat Navc and caot
stolen.
RIVER AREA:
19/3 - 21/3 Blackamoor Lane. Attempt to break in via the front door. No
entry gained.
22/3 8.30 p.m. Blackamoor Lane. Owner hard a loud bang and discovered
an attempt to force her rear door. No entry gained.
25/3 5.30 - 10.15 p.m. Laggan Road. Entry via insecure 1st floor
bathroom window. Credit card stolen.
22/3 8 - 10 p.m. Cookham Road. New car had its wing mirror damaged.
Part of an ongoing situation. The last situation was overnight 13/3 -

COX GREEN:
22/3 3.20 a.m. Ribstone Road. Entry again through the letterbox !
Handbag, watches, puppy and keys and 2 cars stolen. The handbag was later
recovered from a roof in Hayes.
24/3 3 a.m. Treesmill Drive. Owner awoke and saw a man using a screw
driver on the front door lock. It didn't work, so he went to ca r parked
outside 3 up and got a crowbar. The owner then disturbed him and he ran
back to the waiting car and made off. If this situation occurs please turn
on all the lights immediately to let the offenders know you are awake and
aware of what is happening. Shout out that you are releasing the evil
dangerous guard dog and have phoned the police - which you are also doing
at that moment ! they will leave immediately. By remaining silent, they
may think there is no-one home and continue to break in. If you hear
someone in the house, you never go downstairs, you put a chair against the
door handle of the bedroom, call the police, turn on the lights and radios
and again shout for the guard dogs to be released ! If there is anyone
inside - they will leave.
BELMONT:
21/3 - 25/3 Hargrave Road. Entry via rear smashed window - 32"tv,
laptop, DVD player and Ipod stolen. 2nd burglary there in a week. The last
was an attempt on the 19th to force a front door, but the offenders were
disturbed.
21/3 - 22/3 Spencers Road. Car window smashed.
21/3 - 22/3 All Saints Avenue. 2 businesses broken into. Laptops stolen

Finally, 2 kids were caught grafitting a stairwell in Stafferton Way
with their Tags. They were arrested and as RBWM keeps a photo database had
to answer to all other appearances of their tags in The Crescent, St.

please report them to both the police on 0845 8 505 505- for the attention
of your Neighbourhood Team and RBWM Anti Social behaviour Team on 01628

they have to answer for every tag they have done - that we have on file.

need your help please. - 0845 8 505 505
