Crime quieter in the last few days.

 

Cox Green still being targeted for burglary. It is vital therefore that local residents report any suspicious behaviour or cars - IMMEDIATELY on the 0845 8 505 505 - It doesn't matter if you are not sure, just have a feeling - rely on it and let us be the judge. I am asking you to call !

 

CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS:

1/4 Shurlock Row. Garage door forced - tools stolen.

1/4 7.20 - 9.15pm High Street, Cookham. Car rear window smashed 2 bags stolen.

31/3 - 1/4 Church View, White Waltham. Car possibly left insecure with keys in stolen. Later recovered in a hedge.

1/4 - 2/4 Coxbarrow Close. Plant containers and trees stolen. We have had similar offences in Windsor.

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

1/4 Early hours. Bracken Road, Cox Green. Burglary using letterbox method. - handbag, mobile and laptop stolen.

31/3 7.15 - 11.30 p.m. Gainsborough Drive, Cox Green. Burglary through forced rear patio doors - Keys plus a BMW stolen. They exited via the integral garage. 2 issues to bring to your attention - there was a build up of post visible through the front door ! A neighbour had seen suspicious people going up and down driveways !

1/4 11 a.m. Farmers Close, Cox Green. House egged for the second time.

31/3 Early evening. Brill Close, Cox Green. Attempt to force window - no entry gained.

2/4 Daytime. Northumbria Road, Cox Green. Burglary through first floor window left open. Offenders climbed on a bin - Ipod, laptop and camcorder stolen. Climbing burglaries are very rare here, but as garden furniture is put back into gardens after the winter it may increase. Please be extra careful if you have flat garage roofs / rear extensions / porches at this time, because we have had several in the last week. Please also make sure large wheelie bins are not left where they can be used to climb on.

1/4 10.42 p.m. Highfield Lane. Cox Green Community Centre has been burgled several times recently. This time, someone hid inside when it was being locked up and got out through an emergency exit. If you live nearby, can you keep an eye out for any suspicious behaviour.

2/4 5.30 - 6 p.m. Ilchester Close, Boyn Hill. Locked up bike, stolen from a courtyard.

3/4 Early hours Heynes Green. Burglary through rear patio doors - mobiles X2, Nintendo DS, Jewellery and handbag and keys stolen, but car left on driveway. 3rd time this property has been attacked - 18/12 & 22/12. The handbag had it's contents removed and was discarded.

 

RIVERSIDE, BELMONT:

1/4 9 p.m. Powney Road. Burglary through rear door. The glass was smashed and the door opened with the key which had been left in the lock - not known if anything stolen.

 

OLDFIELD, BRAY:

1/4 10.30 a.m. Tithe Barn Drive. Incident with a dog in which a person was seriously injured. Police have been in contact with all parties. An arrest has been made.

2/4 11 a.m. Stompits Road. Dog attacked in the road by another dog - no-one was injured, but the dog was hurt.

31/3 - 1/4 Aysgarth Park. Substance poured over the bonnet of a car.

1/4 1.30 - 3 p.m. Forest Green Road. Hole made in the rear windscreen of a car - possibly by an air rifle.

30/3 - 1/4 Forest Green Road. Fly tipping of building material and hedge trimmings. Did anyone see a van doing this ? This is usually the result of travellers touting for work in the road. If anyone has been approached recently, please remember - we do not purchase goods and services at the door.

 

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

1/4 3 - 7.30 p.m. Oaken Grove. Rear car windscreen smashed.

31/1 - 1/4 Shifford Crescent. Brick thrown through the rear windscreen of a car.
