Crime: 11 May 2009

 

Burglaries well down. Car crime creeping up - possibly because there are easy pickings. Please remind everyone you know to remove all items from their cars when parked up - and to report anyone suspicious hanging around parked cars. Please do not let yourself or anyone you know become a victim of this crime.

 

CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS:

2/5 9.30 p.m. Shepherds Lane. Owner heard a noise and went to investigate. There had been an attempt to break into the garage.

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

10/5 5.20 a.m. Haddon Road, Boyn Hill. Car set on fire. Did anyone see it arrive or some suspicious people leave ?

10/5 4.15 a.m. Webster Close, Boyn Hill. Car drivers window smashed. The owners heard the car alarm sound looked out and disturbed the thief, who immediately made off.

 

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

9/5 - 10/5 Ray Mill Road West. Car drivers window smashed - nothing stolen.

7/5 - 8/5 Parkside. Car passenger window smashed - car searched, nothing stolen.

27/4 - 4/5 Cordwallis Road. Copper piping and cylinder stolen from front garden.

9/5 - 10/5 North Town Road. Bike stolen from garden.

7/5 - 8/5 Ellington Park. Bike stolen from a garden.

8/5 early hours. College Road. Burglary possibly through patio doors left insecure. Bank cards stolen. Some later recovered in Risborough Road.

10/5 1 - 6 a.m. Windrush Way. Car passenger window smashed - Car searched.

 

OLDFIELD & BRAY.

8/5 10 A.M. - 1 P.M. Ascot Road. Up and over garage door forced - nothing stolen.

8/5 - 9/5 Brunel Road. Car front windscreen shattered.

9/5 5 - 11 a.m. Ludlow Road. Offender has run over a car and smashed the winsdscreen.

7/5 - 8/5 Springfield Park. Burglary using the letterbox method - Mobile phone, laptop, cash, & wallet stolen.

7/5 - 8/5 Holyport Street. Burglary through forced front door - mobile phone, games console, laptop, credit cards, purse, wallet, keys and 2 TV's stolen.

 

FURZE PLATT & PINKNEYS GREEN:

10/5 6 a.m. Oaken Grove. Wheelie bin set on fire.

9/5 - 10/5 Lee Lane. Burglary of an office in a garden - 2 computers and a palm top stolen.

8/5 - 9/5 Pinkneys Drive. Car windscreen smashed.

7/5 - 8/5 Shifford Crescent X 2. Car passenger door lock forced - no entry gained. Car rear quarterlight smashed - Ipod stolen.

7/5 Early hours. Courthouse Road. Car broken into by unknown emans - SAT NAV stolen.

5/5 - 10/5 Harrow Lane X 2. Car rear door lock forced - tools stolen. Car stolen from the car park

9/5 - 10/5 Burcot gardens. Insecure car entered - Mints, torch and an oily rag stolen !

9/5 - 10/5 Clarefiled Drive. Subaru stolen from the road.
