Crime: 12 May 2009

 

A quick point. Not only are sheds being broken into for garden tools, we are now seeing an increase of sheds being targeted for bikes, as you will see below. Bikes must never be left insecure - even if they are in your rear garden / shed.

 

CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS:

8/5 - 10/5 Lesters Road, Cookham Rise. Shed break and interior vandalised. 2nd time in a month as well as neighbours' sheds broken into.

10/5 - 11/5 Southwood Road, Cookham Rise. Shed break and searched. Padlock forced - tools stolen.

7/5 - 11/5 Alfred Major Rec., High Road, Cookham Rise. Trees and benches vandalised.

25/4 - 11/5 Henley Road. Burglary through kitchen window - wood burning stove stolen - exit via lounge window !

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

9/5 - 11/5 Furrow Way. Bike stolen from Communal area - possibly recovered hidden nearby.

11/5 3 a.m. Sherwood Drive. 2 cars on driveway broken into.

10/5 - 11/5 Beechwood Drive. Car broken into without damage - glovebox searched.

 

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

Nothing to report !

 

OLDFIELD & BRAY:

8/5 7.15 - 10.45 High Street, Bray. THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR EVERYONE - DO NOT LET THIS BE YOU, NOR ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS, AQUAINTANCES, WORK COLLEAGUES AND FAMILY - SPREAD THE MESSAGE - Car passenger window smashed - SAT NAV stolen from the glovebox and a laptop from under the passenger seat.

8/5 - 10/5 Ross Road. Bike and mini moke stolen from a garden - later recovered from Ockwells Park.

 

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

4/5 - 7/5 The Paddock. Car broken into by unknown means - CD's stolen.
