Can
everyone in the Cookhams be aware we have had a short spell of shed breaks
for garden tools and bikes. Removing lawn mowers should look suspicious.
It would help if they were visibly postcoded - thieves would leave them
behind - so please visibly postcode all your garden and other tools. You
can do this neatly with silver paint for example.

Lots
of petty crime, the sort of thing NW should be able to assist with, by
being observant. 3 things needed for a crime to occur - an offender,
something to steal and the absence of a guardian to prevent it. We can
influence the last 2. Leaving nothing out as a temptation or a crime
'attractor' and always being observant and vigilant. Hence the importance
of phoning through any suspicious activity - day or night - quickly.
The number as always - 0845 8 505 505 or
Crimestoppers in complete confidence on 0800 555 111.
