Crime: 4 September 2009

 

Crime is down a lot compared with last year. Yesterday a year ago, we had 29 Theft From cars, 8 this year.

 

CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS:

31/8 11.45 p.m. Mill Lane. People on a boat heard footsteps on the roof and went to investigate and saw a man walking about - he immediately made off. A fire extinguisher had been stolen.

2/9 3.30p.m. Waltham Road. Burglary attempt by jemmying a rear window - Witnesses saw 2 men running away from the property as the alarm sounded. This possibly connected with 2 other burglaries in the area. 2 men are now in pole custody in another police area.

2/9 - 3/9 Vicarage Gardens, Waltham Road. Burglary through forced kitchen window - unknown if anything stolen at this time.

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

31/8 - 1/9 Wessex Way - fence damaged.

1/9 7.20 - 7.30 p.m. Talbots Drive. Car driver's window smashed - SAT NAV and cash stolen.

2/9 Daytime. Woodlands Park Avenue. Burglary possibly connected to the Waltham Road job. Through insecure side window - unknown if anything stolen. MO in the house was the same.

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT27/8 10a.m. - Noon. Ray Park Avenue. Chrome badge stolen from a car.

31/8 - 1/9 Ray Drive Brickwork in a wall kicked in - ongoing problem.

1/9 Daytime. Belmont Park Avenue. Burglary through insecure door - Camera & laptop stolen.

2/9 10.12 p.m. Boulters Lane. Ownere found a man in his garage possibly attempting to steal garden equipment. He immediately made off.

3/9 10p.m. - 10.30 p.m. St Mark's Road. Car driver's window smashed - SAT NAV stolen.

2/9 - 3/9 Ray Mill Road East. Car break in by unknown means - Mobile phone, hands free kit, keys and a packet of polos stolen.

 

INNER MAIDENHEAD:

31/8 2 p.m. - Fotherby Court. Car passenger window smashed.

 

OLDFIELD & BRAY:

14/8 - 17/8 Norrys Drive. Copper stolen.

2/9 Evening. Bray village car park X 2. Car drivers window smashed - laptop stolen. Car window smashed - 2 laptops, passport and 2 briefcases stolen. Car driver's rear window smashed - Gym bag stolen.

2/9 7 - 9 p.m. Bray village car park. Disabled badge stolen.

 

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

2/9 2.30 p.m. - 5.45 p.m. Newlands Drive. Burglary connected to the above 2 - through kitchen window - Paperwork and camera stolen.

In each of the 3 jobs, valuable portable items that could have been taken, were not touched.

31/8 - 1/9 Cricket Club on the Bath Road. Beer cans found on the pitch and the protective cover on the pitch damaged.
