CRIME STILL VERY LOW - ESPECIALLY WHEN COMPARED WITH LAST YEAR. LOWER CRIME MEANS OF COURSE LESS VICTIMS OF CRIME

 

CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS:

17/9 Daytime. Spring Lane, Cookham Dean. Pool house entered and vandalised.

21/9 8 p.m. Littlefield Green. Caravan burnt out.

29/8 - 19/9 Mill Lane. Petrol tank stolen from a boat.

21/9 - 22/9 High Road, Cookham Rise. Shed break - hedge trimmer stolen.

22/9 The Pound. Various unwanted items were left in a car park. A totters van turned up and asked if they could have them. They were told NO - but you can have the old washing machine. A couple of days later all the items have been removed. This happens very frequently, particularly with skips on driveways. Owner say yes they can have this or that scrap metal but not other items. Almost invariably the other items go missing shortly after. DO NOT LET ANYONE SCOUT AROUND YOUR PROPERTY UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES - YOU WILL BE PUTTING YOURSELF AND YOUR BELONGINGS AT RISK.

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

18/9 4.15 a.m. Cox Green Road. Bin set on fire.

6/9 - 20/9 Croxley Rise. Attempted garage brake using a jemmy - no entry gained.

17/9 - 18/9 Bedford Close. Car door lock forced - car searched.

19/9 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Audley Drive. Car driver's window smashed.

20/9 5.30 p.m. - 8.15 p.m. St Adrian's Close. Burglary through first floor bedroom window - IPOD, Xbox, Nintendo DS and computer games stolen.

18/9 Early hours. Bissley Drive. Burglary through front door possibly left insecure - Mobile, purse, TV, car keys and Saab 93 index DY 08 HJD stolen. The police would like to locate this car. Is it parked up quietly in your road to see if it has a Tracker fitted ?

17/9 - 18/9 Lillibrooke Crescent. Car door lock forced - CDs stolen.

20/9 - 21/9 Clare Road X 2. Car driver's window smashed - SAT NAV stolen from the glove box. The cradle had been left attached to the windscreen. A thief cycled up to another car, smashed the driver's window and stole a SAT NAV left on the windscreen.

20/9 - 21/9 Ashton Place. Rear windscreen wipers pulled off - ongoing situation.

22/9 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Wentworth Crescent. Car passenger windows smashed - CD Player stolen.

 

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

17/9 - 18/9 Ray Mill Road East. Shed break - door pulled off.

20.9 - 21/9 Ray Mill Road East. Car door lock forced - IPOD stolen..

15/9 Cordwallis Road. House rear window smashed with stones.

20/9 7.15 p.m. Cookham Road. Car keyed with offensive words.

18/9 - 19/9 Belmont Crescent. Car passenger window smashed - glove box searched.

17/9 - 18/9 North Town Road. Car passenger window smashed - CD player stolen.

20/9 - 21/9 Ray Park Avenue. Car drivers window smashed - cowling removed and an attempt to hot wire the car. 2 bikes were also stolen.

19/9 - 22/9 Ray Drive. Garage break - the door became jammed and no entry gained.

 

INNER MAIDENHEAD:

20/9 - 21/9 Holmanleaze. Car windscreen smashed. 2 others smashed last week.

21/9 5.40 p.m. King Street - Bike stolen.

 

OLDFIELD & BRAY:

16/9 - 17/9 Ascot Road. Lead stolen from porch causing considerable damage. - Lead is still being stolen - be aware !

21/9 5.15 a.m. Moneyrow Green. Car set alight on forecourt - portable barbecue put under front bumper - another car was damaged.

20/9 - 21/9 Hare Shoots - 3 tyres slashed.

22/9 Bray Road. 2 bikes stolen.

 

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

19/9 6.30 p.m. - 11 p.m. Linden Avenue. Stones thrown at car causing damage.

20/9 1 a.m. Edinburgh Road. Car driver's window smashed - SAT NAV stolen from the glovebox.

12/9 - 21/9 Hobbis Drive. Car keyed.

21/9 Corfe Place. Car passenger window smashed.
