Crime: 1 October 2009
Its such a pleasure to be able to say all quiet again this week.
SAFE AS HOUSES intiative The contract has now been received from the Home Office, signed, returned and the security equipment ordered for our bid - SAFE AS HOUSES. Unfortunately our NHW bid after being accepted for the first round, was not finally accepted in the second. We will therefore be property marking the belongings of those over 50 in hotspot areas. I will be tying up with your local Neighbourhood Team to get the project started. We have run a pilot in Old Windsor which went extremely well. Watch this space. I met quite a few of you at the Older Persons Conference today - it was brilliant !
