Crime: 1 December 2009

 

Very quiet 24 hours and there seems to have been a halt in our car crime spike - long may it continue.

 

CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM & HURLEY:

26/11 - 30/11 Hungerford Lane, Shurlock Row. Diesel syphoned from an excavator - 350 litres.

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

21/11 - 28/11 Hatfield Close. Attempted shed break - no entry gained.

30/11 10.30 - 11 a.m. Boyn Valley Road. Thieves entered insecure lorry being unloaded - PDA, SAT NAV, mobile phone and cigarettes. The driver saw a suspicious lad hanging around. Described as - white, 5'7'', close shaved hair, wearing shorts.

29/11 - 30/11 Boyndon Road. Car passenger window smashed - nothing stolen. BMW.

 

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

19/11 - 20/11 garage break - bike stolen.

30/11 4.30 6.15 p.m. Calder Close. Insecure car broken into - SAT NAV and cash stolen. Landrover.

 

INNER MAIDENHEAD:

Nothing to report.

 

BRAY & HOLYPORT:

30/11 3.15 - 4.15 p.m. car broken into by unknown means - garden equipment stolen. Ford Transit.

 

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

27/11 6.15 p.m. Kings Street. A witness saw a lad breaking into a car. As he was disturbed he made off. The witness phoned the police giving an excellent description of the lad. An area search immediately took place and a lad matching the description stopped. He immediately admitted the offence and was arrested. IF YOU PHONE QUICKLY ENOUGH - SOMETHING CAN BE DONE.
