Crime: 4 December 2009

It's that time of year when I have to be on my travels again ! The costs of flights have gone up considerably, so I have no idea where I will be going, but I will have a good time wherever that is. I will be back in the New Year. Please remain alert while I am away. Caroline will take over Community Messaging while I am away.

Crime a lot quieter and our vehicle car crime spike has definitely tailed off towards the end of the week

CHRISTMAS IS COMING. We have a Christmas Crime Prevention Menu leaflet which will be available at the front desks of the police stations. It contains some really good advice. Below I have set out the advice relating to Christmas Shopping. In your home - please do not have presents under a Christmas Tree all beautifully wrapped and lit up - VISIBLE FROM THE ROAD, OR ANYONE CALLING AT YOUR FRONT DOOR. Each year we suffer burglaries and Christmas presents are stolen - please don't let that be you.
