Crime: 5 January 2010

 

I am back and raring to go !

Crime has been very quiet over the Holidays but over the last 2 days we have seen a slight increase in burglaries, but they are completely disconnected and widely dispersed without any apparent patterns - apart from yesterday when they were daytime.

We have people from outside the area in Shurlock Row the police are aware of the current issues and are increasing their presence and considering options.

 

CRIME:

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS:

2/1 - 3/1 Riverside Park, Mill Lane, caravan broken into - leather jacket, bottles of wine and batteries stolen from remote controls.

31/12 Midnight. Church Hill. Church Hill. Lead stolen from the roof. The owner heard a noise at midnight and may have disturbed the offender - only half the lead was stolen. can everyone in the area keep their eyes open - they could be back for the rest.

31/12 - 1/1 Whyteladyes Lane. Attempted burglary through forced side window - no entry gained.

30/12 - 31/12 Shergold Way, Cookham. Burglary via insecure French windows - TV wallet and bank cards stolen.

3/1 3.45 p.m. Westacott Way. A suspicious van was stopped and the 3 occupants arrested, as none could confirm who owned it !

4/1 11 a.m. Church View, White Waltham. Witness saw a man attempt to break into a house with a shovel. The rear door was damaged but no entry gained. He is disturbed as possibly white, wearing very baggy jogging bottoms and a black hoody. Any further detail or intelligence to the Ringmaster hotline please:

4/1 1.35 p.m. High Street, Hurley. Attempted burglary. House alarm sounded and a neighbour found a rear door forced open. A suspicious car was seen nearby - that was known to us.

4/1 - 5/1 Bisham Bypass. 200 litres of diesel stolen from a lorry parked up overnight. There have been several similar incidents there recently.

 

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

30/12 - 31/12 Thurlby Way. Paint stripper poured over a car.

3/1 oo.30 a.m. Wessex Way. Car arial damaged and doors forced - offender was disturbed and ran off. He was described as white wearing a beige T shirt and jeans.

2/1 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Boyn Valley Road X 2 cars keyed.

12/12 - 1/1 St Adrian's Close. Bread placed under the bonnet of a car ! No damage.

3/1 1 - 8.30 p.m. The Fairway. Kitchen window smashed - laptop, jewellery, watch and cash stolen.

3/10 Westborough Road. Windscreen wiper blades stolen from a car. 2nd time in 3 weeks.

1/1 2 - 8.30 p.m. Boyn Hill Road. Car driver's window smashed - SAT NAV stolen.

17/12 - 2/1 Dunholme End. Van rear door drilled - power tools stolen.

31/12 - 1/1 Laburnham Road. Car passenger window smashed - nothing stolen.

29/12 - 3012 Boyn Valley Road. Car broken into by unknown means - skateboard stolen.

4/1 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sandisplatt Road. Attempted Burglary using a garden spade to force a rear window. The spade had been taken from a shed activating an alarm.

 

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

2/1 - 3/1 Powney Road. Garage break - bike stolen.

30/12 Midnight - 8 p.m. Prince Andrew Close. Garage break reported by neighbour. No details.

3/1 7 p.m. Prince Andrew Road. Owner noticed a lad acting suspiciously. He walked up the road and then ducked into her driveway and tried her car door handle. Her husband went to investigate and he ran off down a neighbour's drive. They immediately phoned the police giving an excellent description. An area search was carried out and 2 lads matching the description were arrested nearby. 31/12 - 1/1 High Town Road. Garden damaged Fence and wall pushed over, pots moved.

22/12 - 4/1 Prince Andrew Close - Garage break - bike stolen.

 

INNER MAIDENHEAD:

31/12 - 2/1 31/12 - 2/1 Grenfell Road. White Nissan Cabster stolen from outside a house - index W 403 PLK. Any sightings to the Ringmaster Intelligence Line please:

4/1 6.30 a.m. - 4 p.m. New Market, King Street. Burglary - flat broken into through forced front door - laptops, TVs and digital photo frame stolen.

 

OLDFIELD & BRAY:

31/12 - 1/1 Larchfield Road. House back door window smashed.

31/12 - 1/1 Ascot Road, Holyport. Burglary through forced rear patio doors - SAT NAV, laptop, jewellery & golf equipment stolen.

2/1 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Holyport Street. Vamoose Burglary through rear window - Chrysler Crossfire stolen - the car has now been recovered from Iver Heath

2/1 - 3/1 Bargeman Road. Index plates stolen.

31/12 5 - 11 p.m. Norrey's Drive. Index plates stolen.

4/1 7.30 - 8.40 p.m. Bray Road. Car rear windscreen smashed - Laptop stolen.

4/1 4 - 6 p.m. Fishery Road. Car rear windscreen smashed - small luggage stolen.

 

PINKNEY'S GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

24/12 - 31/12 Wavell Road. Lawnmower and tools stolen from a garage.

30/12 - 31/12 Gardner Road. Car windscreen and both rear lights smashed. Also an attempt to crowbar open the doors.

31/12 - 1/1 Queensway. Car rear windscreen smashed.

30/12 - 31/12 Cannon Court Road. Index plates stolen.

 

All very varied and spread out. Our homes are now full of new equipment purchased and received as presents over Christmas. Please be extra careful with your security and the disposal of the boxes things came in. Lovely laptop / games console boxes left outside for the dustmen - shows what's inside !
