Crime: 8 January 2010

Police patrols and response has taken place almost unaffected by the weather conditions - and their has been a beneficial side effect ! Police Officers have all be requested to report for duty at their nearest police station if they cannot get to their base station. This has meant many of our officers reporting for Duty at Bracknell or even Wokingham. Similarly we have had Met Pol and other officers reporting for duty here. There is always a significant benefit when this happens - cross fertilisation and networking. We can share best practice and ideas from those other areas. Old faces not seen for some time suddenly appear and again, during the catching up process, new things, projects approaches, initiatives are leaned and shared.
