Crime: 14 January 2010
May I welcome Belmont Park Road to the fold - we had a really entertaining evening last night, setting them up as a nhw scheme. My thanks to M. for making her home available and providing such a lovely buffet for everyone that attended. THERE WERE NO BURGLARIES ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA FOR THE LAST 24 HOURS We did get reports from members in Riverbeat,Maidenhead of Nottingham Knockers. Please remain alert - remember out motto - 'We do not buy goods and services at the door' !!! I am grateful to those that called it really protects others. Can you please remember to call us if they are in your road - 0845 8 505 505. Another matter - every day, we have a briefing meeting at 9 a.m. to discuss crimes over the last 24 hours, as well as weekly Intelligence meetings, from which police officers are tasked to carry out patrols in areas and at times, when crimes have occurred, or are likely to occur. It is not random. These 'taskings' take place throughout a 24 hour period. It is vital therefore that you report anything suspicious to us - whatever the time, but particularly in the early hours, when a lot of crime takes place - so that those officers out on the streets, can be directed more accurately - 0845 8 505 505 CRIME: ASCOT: SUNNINGDALE: 13/1 2.45 p.m. Ridgemount Road.
