Crime: 15 January 2010
Still quiet.
CRIME: BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS: 14/1 1.20 - 8.30 p.m. Burglary through forced rear window - mobile phones, cameras, keys, passport and shirt stolen. Additional police patrols have been organised as a result of the recent string of burglaries in the area. BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK: 14/1 5.50 p.m. Wootton Way. Car passenger window smashed - Laptop stolen. Audi A4. A witness saw 2 lads described as wearing big coats and woolly hats. There is also a mention of a red car which may be connected to the one seen in Holyport, below. 12/1 - 14/1 Denham Close. Car entered by unknown means - IPODs and golf clubs stolen. BMW. 13/1 - 14/1 Bracken Road. Car passenger window smashed - SAT NAV stolen. Toyota Rav.
RIVERSIDE & BELMONT: 12/1 8 p.m. Ray Mill Road West. Business yard entered through hole made in side gate. 3 lorries stripped down and spares stolen from a nearby shed. Earlier, 5 lads with vans were seen acting suspiciously nearby, but not reported to the police. The police have several leads.
INNER MAIDENHEAD: 14/1 3.30 p.m. Melton Court. A suspicious car was stop checked by the police. When it was searched, it contained a large quantity of scrap metal. A man was found hiding behind the front seat. 2 men arrested.
OLDFIELD & BRAY: 13/1 10 - 11 p.m. Alpine Close. 2 fence panels broken. 14/1 6.40 p.m. Money Row Green. Car passenger window smashed - laptop stolen. A witness saw a red Renault, 3 up drive away. It had no rear number plate but did have an index plate in the rear window. That is quite distinctive. Any sightings please to the intel line: ringmasterintelligen@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk 15/12 - 15/1 Tithe Barn Drive. Burglary possibly using letterbox method - 2 sets of car keys taken from a coat in the hallway and a handbag from the kitchen containing a purse with credit cards and cash, along with 2 coats and a laptop. The cars outside were searched and a kite in its bag stolen. 14/1 - 15/1 Tithe Barn Drive. Car rear windscreen smashed - Laptop and DVD player stolen. Ford Focus. This road has a NHW Scheme. Can everyone who lives there, make their neighbours aware that they are being targeted at the moment during the early hours and sign them up online to receive messages - www.tvpcommunitymessaging.org - to ensure all local residents are aware. The police will be organising additional patrols in the area on foot during the early hours. 15/1 5.10 a.m. Windsor Road. 2 thieves broke into a Vauxhall Nova on the driveway of a house and attempted to drive it away. They stalled it, as they reversed it away. The owner ran out to stop them and smashed the front driver's window with a golf club. The thieves got out and ran away. They are described as 16 - 17 years old, one had a black hoody, the other a grey hoody with a checked pinstripe pattern.
Several men have been arrested in relation to the thefts of Deisel !
