Lots of extra police patrols have been taking place over the weekend in hotspot areas and as a result crime is well down. More petty thefts. Please let us know if you see anyone hanging around cars, perhaps trying door handles or just looking into cars. We have several suspects, and a description, or location would be very useful.

BISHAM, COOKHAM,HURLEY & THE WALTHAMS:

15/1 2 p.m. Church Hill, White Waltham. 10 bales of straw stolen.

16/1 8 - 11 p.m. Church Road, Cookham Dean X 2 Insecure car entered - keys stolen - Merc. Car driver's door lock forced - Golf clubs & SAT NAV stolen. VW Golf.

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:

13/1 - 14/1 Boyn Valley Road. Car passenger window smashed - nothing stolen. Vauxhall Combi

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:

16/1 - 17/1 Boulters Lock Island. Rear windscreen and tail light smashed and wing panels dented.

17/1 8.30 - 9.25 p.m. Courthouse Road. Car passenger window smashed - SAT NAV stolen. Audi A3.

15/1 4.30 - 6.20 p.m. Ray Mill Road West. Car driver's window smashed - SAT NAV, charger and cradle stolen. Seat Leon.

15/1 - 16/1 Hargrave Road. Car driver's window smashed - SAT NAV stolen Range Rover.

INNER MAIDENHEAD:

10/1 - 14/1 West Street. Church broken into - 2 projectors stolen from a cupboard. No damage.

15/12 - 14/1 Moorbridge Road. Lead stolen from a roof.

OLDFIELD & BRAY:

14/1 - 15/1 Aysgarth Park X 3. Cars had doors forced with a crowbar - nothing stolen. Noises were overheard ion the street at 5.30 a.m. One of the cars - a red Ford Fiesta had its ignition system tampered with in an attempt the steal the car.

14/1 - 15/1 Springfield Park. Car door forced and damaged - ignition barrel removed - possibly an attempt to steal it.

15/1 3 p.m. - midnight. Tithe Barn Drive X 3. Car door jemmied. Ignition housing removed in an attempt to hot wire it. Silver Honda Civic. Rear car window smashed - Laptop and DVD player stolen. Another Burglary discovered by a neighbour. Entry gained by several means eventually smashing rear living room window - unknown if anything stolen.

14/1 - 15/1 Stompits Road. Blue Vauxhall Nova stolen from a driveway. Owner still has the keys and no glass on the driveway. Index G 424 XAN. Any sightings please on the intel line:

PINKNEY'S GREEN & FURZE PLATT:

13/1 - 15/1 Pinkney's Drive. Wire round garden forced and hedge trimmer stolen from one of the sheds.

16/1 0.15 - 0.20 a.m. Cranbrook Drive. 4 unknown offenders were seen stealing a car from a driveway. They drove off followed by a mini moto. It is believed it was involved in a police chase later that night.
