Crime: 11 March 2010Crime still fairly quiet due to the amount of police activity taking place, in those areas suffering higher rates of crime at the moment.
CRIME: BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS & LITTLEWICK GREEN: 9/3 10.30 p.m. Strande Lane. Owner heard a loud noise and went to investigate. He found 3 men in his living room - one holding the TV which they dropped. They immediately made off. They are described as: 1. mixed race, 6', slim, wearing a grey hoody, and dark jogging bottoms. 2 others described as black, 5'5'', stocky both wearing hoodies and dark bottoms. These three must have stood out in Hurley. Did you see them in a car before or after the incident ? The police are very anxious to trace them.
BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK: 9/3 Boyn Valley Road X 2. Car driver's door lock forced - nothing stolen. VW Polo. 10/3 6 p.m. A witness saw a lad open an insecure car door and steal a SAT NAV. Audi A6. he gave chase but lost the offender, described as: white, early 20s, 5'8'', slim, dark scruffy hair, wearing a puffa jacket, blue jeans and a black rucksack. 10/3 Early hours. Boyn Hill Road. Burglary through forced window - keys and a Green Saab 9-3 index RE 04 KAX stolen. has this car appeared parked up quietly in your road, while the thieves wait to see if a Tracker system has been activated ? Can everyone in the area pay particular attention to anyone acting suspiciously around parked cars.
RIVERSIDE & BELMONT: 9/3 8 - 10 p.m. Bridle Road. Front wall kicked down. Did you see this happen ? 9/3 - 10/3 Bridle Road X 2. Both cars had number plates stolen: YP 03 FZU & T 770 GGT. If you se them info to the intel line please.
INNER MAIDENHEAD: No crime to report.
OLDFIELD & BRAY: 2/3 - 9/3 Old Mill Lane. Car driver's door lock forced - nothing stolen. VW Golf. 8/3 - 9/3 Ludlow Road. Car driver's door lock forced - loose change stolen. VW Golf. 10/3 Early hours. Fane Way X 2. Shed break - nothing stolen. car driver's door lock forced. Mercedes Sprinter. 10/3 3 a.m. Earlsfield, Holyport X 2. Netball pole and net stolen from a back garden - recovered in a neighbours garden. Another house burgled using a pole put through the letterbox - keys and 2 cars stolen: BMW 325 and a BMW X5. These have both been recovered from Earlsfield. 2 men arrested. This may well be connected to the 'Vamoose' Burglary (burglary to steal car keys and cars) in Boyn Hill Road. 9/3 9 - 9.15 p.m. Oldfield Road. Car broken into by unknown means - IPOD and National Trust card stolen. Chrysler Voyager. 9/3 - 10/3 Beechfield Place. Car passenger door lock forced - SAT NAV stolen. Peugeot 206.
