Crime: 15 March 2010
Not much crime over the weekend and what there was, was very patchy. If you look at the car crime - how many cars were targeted because they had something left in them ? How much car crime would we have, if you count up the cars targeted where nothing was stolen ???
CRIME: BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS & LITTLEWICK GREEN: 12/3 3.15 p.m. Star Lane. Burglary via front door - may have used a key dropped outside - handbag and purse stolen. Other items were found discarded in the garden.
BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS: 4/3 Dunwood Court, Boyne Valley Road. Both wing mirrors kicked from a car. 2 0ther cars damaged in the last month. 11/3 - 14/3 Boyndon Road. Car door lock forced - SAT NAV stolen. 12/3 - 13/3 Hever Close. Index plates stolen.
RIVERSIDE & BELMONT: 11/3 - 12/3 Green Close. Car door lock forced - diary and purse stolen.
INNER MAIDENHEAD: 8/3 - 12/3 Forlease Road. Car door lock forced - nothing stolen.
OLDFIELD & BRAY: 12/3 - 14/3 Walker Road. Burglary through forced window - unknown if anything stolen.
PINKNEY'S GREEN & FURZE PLATT: 12/3 - 14/3 Alwyn Road. Glass in front door smashed - not near the lock. 12/3 7.15 - 7.30 p.m. ATTEMPTED DISTRACTION BURGLARY. Highway Avenue. The owner answered the doorbell and a man told her he needed to turn the water off or she would be flooded. He added he was from the waterboard. As I would have expected from that area and the training by Lil - the NHW Co-ordinator there - she did not let the man in, but shut and locked the door. Well done Lil - it is all worth while. The man is described as: white, 28 - 30, average build, 5'10'', clean shaven, wearing a grey anorak and grey woolly hat. Did he call at your house using an excuse to try and get in ?
The number as always - 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers in complete confidence on 0800 555 111. |
