THERE WERE NO BURGLARIES ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA IN THE LAST 24 HOURS.
VERY LITTLE CAR CRIME TO REPORT EITHER.
Re the car crime in Maidenhead. The police were aware of several of the
crimes as part of a series, as we found them broken into. The owners have
now reported the incidents. We arrested some offenders yesterday, who have
admitted to carrying out many additional offences. These admissions are
solely down to good detective and analytical work carried out by our
specialist teams who link similar offences / MOs together and put them to
anyone brought in.
CRIME:
ASCOT:
15/4 - 16/4 Kennel Avenue. Thieves have walked onto the driveway and
removed the tyres from 2 cars along with their radios. A BMW 735 and
Bentley. The offenders left their tools behind. Were they disturbed / Did
you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area but think nothing of it ?

OLD WINDSOR:
14/4 - 15/4 Straight Road. Subaru Legacy index N 979 BWU stolen from a
property. Any sightings to the PEC please.
WRAYSBURY:
15/4 Daytime. Heron Lake, Staines Road. Moped stolen from the road where
it had been left, after breaking down.
MAIDENHEAD:
15/4 2 a.m. Malvern Road. Car window smashed - SAT NAV stolen. Ford Focus.
15/4 The Rushes X 2. Lads seen trying door handles - taken as a TIC when
arrested.
14/4 - 15/4 River Gardens, Bray. Car entered via insecure door - SAT NAV
stolen. 3 arrested and charged.
14/4 - 15/4 Clare Road, Boyn Hill. Car driver's door lock forced - loose
change. Seat Alhambra
15/4 Early hours. Norfolk Road. Car door lock forced - nothing stolen. VW
Sharan
15/4 9 a.m. Bridle Road. Insecure car entered - handbag & mobile
phone.
14/4 - 15/4 Bray Bank, Bray. Insecure car broken into - parcels containing
fabric samples stolen. have these been dumped anywhere when the thieves
opened them ? If you do find them please protect them as best you can, in
case there is any forensic evidence on them.
15/4 8 .22 p.m. School in Gringer Hill X 2. Car rear windscreen smashed -
rucksack & mobile stolen from the boot. Rear windscreen smashed -
small laptop & 2 digital cameras stolen. A witness saw a suspicious
old navy blue hatchback drive off at speed. The passenger was white, blond
hair, about 20 wearing a white jacket. The driver was of similar age.
