Crime: 12 May 2010

There has been one burglary in the Maidenhead area overnight.
12/05/10 - Cox Green; Offenders have gained entry by forcing the front door of a property. Tidy search of the ground floor and handbag, keys and car stolen. The car is a black Mercedes CLK 230, registration X461 RBT. If you have any information about this vehicle please call the police non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505.

There have also been four vehicle crimes:
11/05/10 - Savoy Court; offenders have gained entry by forcing the door lock and stolen loose change, chewing gum and hub caps.
11/05/10 - Laggan Road; Offenders have gained entry to a vehicle by smashing the rear offside window. Mobile phone, sat nav and cash stolen.
12/05/10 - Allenby road; Offender stole a drawstring bag from a vehicle that had been left insecure.
12/05/10 - Conway road; Offenders have gained entry to a vehicle by forcing the rear door lock. Drills stolen.

Please do not leave items on display in your cars. Tools and drills should be removed and if you have to store them in your vehicles, make sure that they are stored in a secure, lockable tools chest, out of view.
