Crime: 8 June 2010

Well - what a fantastic response to my offer of bike marking strips and stickers ! We are really grateful. I will be sending the various items out later today. If you have not yet requested them the address is my police email:

A really good weekend - no real crime to report. Over the last 24 hours we had 9 cars broken into - 6 in Maidenhead, 3 in Windsor - 6 were left unlocked ! Thieves are just trying door handles and I was asked at briefing by Inspector Dave Gilbert to ask you to do everything in your power to remind everyone you know to lock their cars - particularly if anything is left on display or left in the car that is worth stealing. These are absolutely needless crimes and more importantly victims of crime.

Just to add. A member has suggested that I increase the size of the print for those who are sight impaired. I have tried - but have no options re font / size - sorry !
