Crime: 11 June 2010

NO BURGLARIES TO REPORT.

Some excellent drugs warrants executed across Maidenhead by our Neighbourhood Teams. These were developed from intelligence received. Arrests were made and drugs recovered.

Just an additional thought about leaving your car unlocked - neither the immobiliser and more importantly, as we have so few cars stolen - the alarm will not have been activated ! The kids will be trying car door handles, if your car has been left unlocked, they can search it quietly and remove your hard earned belongings. As these thefts generally take place in the early hours - this would be impossible, if car alarms kept going off. So - please lock your car, to protect other neighbours who may also have left their cars unlocked. If thieves find roads with all the cars locked - they will not risk alarms going off to alert owners - so will avoid those roads.
