Crime: 15 July 2010


Crime was again very low overnight with one burglary and one theft from vehicle.

Maidenhead Riverside/ Belmont:
Ray Mead Road, Maidenhead - Between 0130 and 0800 on 14/07/10 offenders unknown have gained entry to property via insecure rear door. Tidy search of the ground floor conduct. 2 Ipods, 3 mobile phones, laptop, computer software, cash, purse, wallet, tools, camcorder, 3 cameras and a tv stolen.

Oldfield/ Bray:
Curls Road, Maidenhead - between 13/07/10 and 14/07/10 offenders unknown have stolen the number plates from vehicle.

On a very positive note, I am happy to report that since the beginning of the new financial year, Serious Acquisitive Crime which encompasses Burglary, Robbery and Car Crime, has been down by 26% across the borough.
