Crime: 30 July 2010

Not a bad end to the week. We have several leads that are being followed up by our detectives relating to current crimes as a result of calls from the public – keep them coming in !

CRIME:
BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS & LITTLEWICK GREEN:
28/7 – 29/7 Bigfrith Lane. Copper stolen from house being re-furbished.

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:
NO CRIME TO REPORT.

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:
30/7 3.55 a.m. Vamoose Burglary. Owner awoke to see their Bentley being driven down the road., then realised they had been burgled. Entry possibly through front door – only the car keys were stolen. The car was fitted with a Tracker system and was found abandoned in The Myrke, Slough. A witness saw it being parked up and a person running to a Vauxhall Astra and driving off. The witness took an index number and that car has been recovered for forensics ! We are very grateful to that witness. They saw something suspicious and did something about it – even writing down the car’s index. I hope we would all do that.
29/7 – 30/7 Ellington Park. Blue VW Passat index R 776 KDG stolen from the driveway. The owner believes the keys may have been stolen during an evening out, as there is no evidence of a break-in to the house.

INNER MAIDENHEAD:
24/7 – 28/7 King Street. Bike stolen from the station.

OLDFIELD & BRAY:
29/7 early hours. Hibbert Road. House egged.

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
NO CRIME TO REPORT.
