Crime:
5 August 2010
I
have had a gentle reminder from one of our members about the value of NHW.
He got back from work to find a parcel on his porch delivered by the GPO !
It had been sitting there all day an obvious sign that no-one was at
home. Can we all be aware of this issue ? Leaflets, letters, newspapers
hanging out of letterboxes is a real giveaway. Yellow Pages left by front
doors, bins left out in the road all mean no-one is home. Not only could
that person be a potential victim, but while the thief is there, he or
she will check neighbouring properties that could be you !
