or 5 months.

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
26/8 Thursday 3 a.m. Hungerford Drive. The owner of a house heard scraping
noises from outside their study window. They challenged a man they could
see outside in their garden. The man said he was lost and was trying to
cut through from Cookham to Maidenhead. He then left by unbolting high
driveway gates. The police attended almost immediately and carried out an
unsuccessful area search. The police found jemmy marks on the rear window
and ripped wire netting around the garden where they presume he broke in.
Footprints were found in the garden, which matched another on the lower
panel of the back door
Neighbours also heard people outside running around at about that time. A
man matching the very good description supplied has been arrested upon
suspicion.
The number as always - 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers in complete
confidence on 0800 555 111.
