Crime: 20 January 2011

We have had a very sudden spike of crime across Maidenhead in the last month. These crimes, in these roads, were committed by Opportunist thieves who are out and about in the community – BUT – no-one ever seems to see them. We know they were there – we have the crime to prove it.

Even during 'House to House' enquiries, we never get reports of these people. Someone must see them walking along roads between offences even if they are not the ones targeted. If you see anyone walking around where they should not be - -one of the burglaries below was during the day – we need to know immediately. We cannot attend and prevent crime, if we do not know where these opportunist thieves are active. Rely on your instincts - they were developed in the distant past to protect you from harm - they are real.  Please remember the jigsaw !
