Crime: 5 May 2011

I have had a report from a co-ordinator in Bakers Row, Pinkneys Green that they heard a noise outside their house on Tuesday 2 a.m. In the morning, they noticed their fuel cap on the transit van had been opened. Fortunately it was lockable and no diesel had been siphoned. Please be aware. If you see anyone acting suspiciously around cars – petrol caps – photo please from your mobile – JUST IN CASE ! and phone it through using 999 – a crime in progress.

NOT A BAD WEEK SO FAR. – JUST REMEMBER – DON’T LEAVE WINDOWS OPEN FOR INCREASED VENTILATION ON THE GROUND FLOOR, UNLESS YOU ARE IN THE ROOM – AND NEVER AT NIGHT. Some people in bungalows leave rear windows open at night. Unless your side access is very secure, this is very unwise.
