Crime: 22 June 2011

We have had a sudden spate of burglaries - only one or two but they appear to be connected by time and location. Did anyone come to check the area out ? Did you see anyone suspicious hanging around over the last week ? If so - we need to know.

CRIME:
BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:
21/6 - 22/6 Tuesday 9.30 p.m. / Wednesday 8 a.m. Whyteladyes Lane, Cookham Rise. Thieves entered back garden - garden tools stolen from the rear of an open van. In the night the security lights came on, but they ignored it.
22/6 Wednesday 3 a.m. Milley Cottages, Milley Road, Waltham St Lawrence. Burglary via ground floor rear window. The window was forced then unscrewed and removed - it has not been found ! have you seen a window abandoned anywhere ? Keys to motorcycle stolen. A neighbour disturbed them but they escaped - one rode away one ran.
21/6 Tuesday The Street, Waltham St. Lawrence. A witness heard an alarm sounding and looked out of a window to see all the security lights opn. No-one was seen. A barn door had been forced - nothing stolen.

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:
21/6 Tuesday 7.30 p.m. / 5.10 a.m. Prince Andrew Close. Car driver's wing mirror vandalised.

INNER MAIDENHEAD:
No crime to report.

OLDFIELD & BRAY:
No crime to report.

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
No crime to report.
