A good end to the week – crime very low. I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO RE-ENFORCE THE MESSAGE - DO NOT LEAVE WINDOWS OPEN / INSECURE AT NIGHT !!!

My volunteers and myself are putting new members onto the system as fast as we can – we have now reached about 8,000 message recipients in the Royal Borough, an increase of nearly 4,000 in the last year. If you are new to the system, welcome aboard. If you need help or advice contact me on:

CRIME:
BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:

No crime to report.


BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:
12/8 Friday Longleat Gardens. Vamoose Burglary – Access via INSECURE WINDOW – It is believed the thieves may have simply reached in and stolen 2 sets of car keys – and then the 2 cars on the drive !
Silver VW Golf Match index RA 03 OYD and a silver Vauxhall Corsa. We need to locate those cars asap as they may lead to the offenders.
11/8 Thursday midnight – 7 a.m. Lexington Avenue. Attempted Burglary reaching in through a small window to open a larger one. No entry gained and nothing stolen.
11/8 Thursday 1.30 a.m. – 3.30 a.m. Cox Green Road. Car driver’s side window smashed – SAT NAV stolen.

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:
I reported a bus shelter had had its glass smashed in Bridge Road – It appears a bus driver misjudged his approach and smashed it !!
11/8 Thursday 4.30 a.m. Shifford Crescent. A witness was awoken in the night by a bang and a flash. They looked out to see a bin up the road on fire. It was put out with no damage.

INNER MAIDENHEAD:
10/8 Wednesday noon / 4.15 p.m. Leisure Centre, Holmanleaze. Bike stolen.

OLDFIELD & BRAY:
12/8 Friday 0.30 a.m. Greenfields – Burglary via INSECURE WINDOW – Playstation3, games and paintball gun stolen.
10/8 – 11/8 Wednesday 8 p.m. / Thursday 8.30 a.m. Larchfield Road. Index plates stolen from a car.
11/8 Thursday 3 p.m. / 3.30 p.m. Ascot Road, Holyport. Ford Transit stolen. It has now been recovered in Green Lane, Maidenhead. Did you see it being left there ?
10/8 – 11/8 Wednesday 4.30 p.m. / Thursday 7 a.m. School, Stroud farm Road. Site store entered and items stolen.

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
10/8 Wednesday 10 p.m. / 10.30 p.m. BridleRoad – stone thrown through a house window
11/8 Thursday 3 p.m. Wavell Road. The owner of a van disturbed a man trying to break into it. He immediately ran to a Citroen Berlingo van that had been waiting with the passenger door open, which drove off at speed.
