A reminder for you !
Wednesday 24th August 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Retirement Fair, Ascot Race Course. For those that have been once or twice over the last few years, it has become an annual date in the diary. For anyone over 50 it is an essential date. There will be people there from all the organisations that provide any form of support for people of that age. That includes the Health Trusts, Accountants, etc etc etc. It is not to be missed.

Witnesses sought to assault in park – Maidenhead

 Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in a park in Maidenhead.

 The incident happened at around 5.41pmon Monday (15/8), in BlackamoorPark, Blackamoor Lane.

 A man in his twenties was in the park with two others when he was approached from behind and hit on the back of his head with an unknown object. The victim sustained a laceration which required medical attention at WexhamParkHospital.

 Detectives investigating are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the park at the time of the incident, or from anyone who has any information about the assault.

 Anyone with information is urged to contact Maidenhead CID via the 24 hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. Those who do not wish to speak to police or leave their name should call the Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:
18/8 Thursday 6 a.m. Woodfield Drive. Owner heard a noise and went to investigate – The saw a navy blue hatchback, possibly a Peugeot 206 on their drive with the boot open. Thieves had put lead in the boot and made off. Lead had been stolen.
16/8 – 17/8 Tuesday 7.30 p.m. / Wednesday 5.30 p.m. Webster Close. Attempt to force opena garage door with a screwdriver. No entry gained.

RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:
12/8 – 18/8 Powney Road. Car left INSECURE, IPOD cable and sunglasses stolen.17/6 Wednesday 5 p.m. Raymond Road. Owner heard a noise and went to investigate – their bike had been stolen from the garden.
16/8 – 17/8 Tuesday 11 p.m. / Wednesday 7 a.m. Orchard Grove. Car entered BY UNKNOWN MEANS – briefcase stolen from the boot.

OLDFIELD & BRAY:

No crime to report.

PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
17/8 Wednesday 0.30 a.m. Lancaster Road. 2 panes of glass in a window broken.
