Maidenhead woman pleads guilty to GBH


A Maidenhead woman has pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm (section 20) to a woman in her twenties, who suffered serious burns after being lowered into a bath of hot water.

Grace Whati, aged 50, of North Town Road, Maidenhead, pleaded guilty to the offence at Reading Crown Court on Monday (12/9). She has been released on court bail to be sentenced before the same court on 14 October.

The offence occurred at an address in Maidenhead on the evening of 16 March 2010, where Whati was working as a carer at the time.

13/9 Tuesday 6.30 p.m. / 8.25 p.m. Hotel, Bridge Road X 2. Car rear driver’s window smashed – damage to dashboard in an attempt to start the car – blue Mazda 6. Car windscreen smashed – laptop stolen.

INNER MAIDENHEAD:
No crime to report.


OLDFIELD & BRAY:
10/9 – 14/9 Saturday 8 p.m. / Wednesday 11 a.m. Fane Way. Beige Ford Cortina index TOB 114 S Stolen from outside a house.
