Crime: 17 November 2011

Just a reminder to everyone -– and our new members in particular. several cars parked up at night across the Borough have been left insecure. Thieves have walked around trying car door handles and have entered and searched them. Our opportunist thieves do have a jammer device that confuses a car, when you attempt to lock it using your fob. If you are leaving your car anywhere, you must not leave it unlocked. Please make sure you watch for the flash and then try a car door handle – just to make sure your car is locked.
