More motor parts stolen ! Please keep an eye on your cars and particularly vans. If you see the rear of any cars jacked up / people laying under cars in the road anywhere – please let us know on the 101 number. It could be someone stealing a Catalytic converter !

20/2 – 28/2 School Lane, Cookham Dean. Car left INSECURE – handbag and contents stolen.

28/2 – 29/2 Tuesday 6.30 p.m. / Wednesday 8.15 a.m. Bannard Road. Car rear windscreen smashed – laptop bag containing papers stolen from the footwell between the front and rear seats.
29/2 Wednesday 1.05 a.m. Wessex Way. House window smashed.

28/2 Tuesday 3.45 p.m. / 4 p.m. Harrow Lane. Burglary – attempt to force rear patio doors which failed. The thief then forced a window – nothing was stolen so they may have been disturbed.
27/2 – 28/2 Monday 7 p.m. / Tuesday 6 a.m. Ray Mead Road. Car rear windscreen smashed – projector stolen.

28/2 Tuesday 5.50 p.m. St. Mary’s Close. Car broken into and searched – nothing stolen. They may have been disturbed by a witness and made off.
27/2 – 28/2 Monday 5 p.m. / Tuesday 8 a.m. Business, Weldeck Road. Secure compound entered – 2 wheels stolen from one Transit van, 6 from another !

28/2 Tuesday 2.30 p.m. Alwyn Road X 2. Burglary via forced rear door – the dog was locked in an upstairs bedroom – the thieves put the chain on the front door to prevent the owner from getting in and to give the thief a warning, if anyone came home ! Ipod, laptop, crystal candlesticks and other ornaments, jewellery, camera, binoculars and keys stolen.A neighbour did see a man acting suspiciously climbing over the garden gate at 2.30 p.m. ! the burglary was not reported until 8.30 p.m. !!!!!!!

House nearby – Burglary – via forced rear window – owner returned to find house searched and in disarray – not yet known what has been stolen. A neighbour does remember hearing noises and seeing a man with an old white van in the area.
27/2 – 28/2 Monday 1 p.m. / Tuesday 1.30 p.m. Oldershaw Mews. Catalytic converter stolen from under a car using bolt croppers – My exhaust needs some replacement and the Catalytic converter part is nearly £1,000 !!!!
27/2 – 28/2 Monday 9 a.m. / Tuesday noon. Blenheim Road X 2. Catalytic converter stolen from under a car using bolt croppers.  A house window was smashed with a brick.
27/2 – 28/2 Monday 12.30 p.m. / Tuesday 8.50 a.m. Mulberry Walk. An air filter was stolen from the engine of a Citroen C8. Any ideas how they can get under the bonnet, without accessing the car to release it ?
28/2 Tuesday 6 p.m. / 6.30 p.m. Furze Platt Road. Car rear passenger wheel stolen from a Vauxhall Corsa.
