MEMBERS COMMENTS:

Dear Jeff

One of our PCs fell foul of the PRS/Metropolitan Police Scam Virus!

It demands money to unlock the computer. Hopefully nobody will fall for that!

This virus locks the PC and the best you can do is a full re-install of the PC.

[It is supposed to be possible to go into safe mode as administrator and use ‘system restore’ to undo the changes]

This virus has cost me several hours labour restoring the PC.

Are the perpetrators of this virus to be brought to justice?
