Crime: 11 July 2012

First a request from our CID department:

Afternoon Jeff,

Can you ask your members to keep an eye out for a stolen golf from Old Windsor that may be parked up in or around the Littlewick Green area.

The car we are interested in is RV56 OHH a blue golf GTI urn 54 10/07/12 used in the early hours Wraysbury break in, where cigarettes were stolen.  Some items were found in Cockpole Green and I have asked your colleague Liz Herbert who covers that area, to put out a similar request.

Any queries - please contact the OIC DC 5967 Luke Donockley on 733 5829.

Many thanks,

Tim

Secondly – SHED AND GARAGE BREAKS FOR GARDEN EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS.  All garden tools need to be post coded very visibly, to remove any re-sale value at car boot sales.  A bright contrast colour is best – it can be done tastefully and neatly.  If you add up the value in a week, of the tools stolen across the borough – it is huge !  Secure bikes inside sheds and garages to something noisy.  Place cans on strings if necessary, behind the doors  I did publicise Red Web Securities who provide all sorts of security equipment for these cases, including bike alarms, bike trackers as well as all sorts of shed alarms:
