Crime: 28 September 2012

FIRST – just to let you know that PCSO Liz Davidson has won ‘Overall winner of Police Community Support Officer of the Year’.  Liz is part of the Cookham, Hurley & the Walthams Neighbourhood.  Anyone who knows – or who has worked with – Liz, knows this is well deserved.  A full press release will be drafted and circulated shortly.

I have received an email this morning from one of our members in Ascot :

My neighbour rang me to ask whether she should contact you because at 12.40am this morning her dogs started growling and barking.  She found her security light was on.

When she looked out to the front, she saw one man by her single gate to the house and the others were by her double gates, where her caravan is parked.

She watched them until they moved away and walked along the pavement past our bungalow.

Anything like this should be reported to the police – immediately – We can then carry out an area search, locate the individuals and have a word with them.  You will not be wasting our time.  I would have said immediately that this was a suspicious incident – the neighbours attention was drawn to the 2 men – Enough said ?
