Crime: 14 November 2012

Maidenhead has seen a slight increase in the overnight burglary rate. Increased police patrols, both hi viz and plain clothes have been organised.  Can everyone, please ensure they ‘lock their doors and windows at night’ If you have an alarm please remember to set it and make sure there are no ladders / tools easily available, for a thief to use to enter your home. We should all be doing this as a matter of course, but sometimes we are busy and forget – that is when an opportunist thief strikes !!!
