I have had a phenomenal response to my request – black and white –V- colour !!!  I have had hundreds of emails – and the winner is.........................Colour.  Red means something really important, Blue is police ‘advice’, Purple is information from the Borough.  For those of you who check your messages on a Smartphone, I will try and be restrained.  I am also converting all my attachments to PDF format as it appears many of you do not have Microsoft Office and ‘Word’ loaded onto your equipment.  Hopefully that will help.  If there is anything else that would make the messages easier for you – just let me know.

A couple of ‘Alerts:

1.    A couple of small shops across the area – not in RBWM - have recently been targeted for cigarettes.  Apparently the team have been driving around in a stolen white BMW.  If you use a small local shop, can you just let them know ?  It might help if we add all small individual / rural / small arcades of shops to Thames Valley Alert.  I have attached the application form – can you please drop them in and ask them to send them back to me.

2.   A house in Central Windsor has found some strange markings scratched into the wall of their home.  They don’t match any on the Traveller standard markings – (attached), but these may change over time, as we publicise them.  Can everyone keep an eye out around their homes ?  Anything unusual – let us know on the 101 number and take a photo.

3.   As the summer approaches – hopefully – the problem of mopeds in recreation grounds will arise.  We have already received reports from Datchet.  If this happens – we will rely on reports from your good selves.  I have attached the S.59 procedure – Anti Social Use of a Motorised Vehicle’.  This is simply a report from a member of the public that a vehicle is being used in an anti social manner – this could include someone parked up outside your house with a radio blaring ???  Your report is treated anonymously and we never reveal your identity – but S. 59 relies upon someone being affected – therefore a call from a member of the public.  The notice is served upon the registered owner of the ‘vehicle’, whether or not they were driving, in the vehicle or the offender.  That notice is registered and upon a second incident against that ‘vehicle’, a S.60 Notice is served and the vehicle is seized !!!  YOU NEVER KNOW IF YOURS IS THE FIRST CALL – OR THE SECOND !!!
