As a patient of Cookham Medical Centre you are a member of the Patient Participation Group (PPG). The PPG is run by a committee made up of patients and doctors from the Practice. We work with the practice to help all patients to take responsibility for their own health and that of their family and the wider community. This help takes several forms:
You are welcome at any activity organised by the PPG. You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting and vote in elections and on resolutions. New members are always needed on the committee. Cookham PPG is affiliated to the National Association for Patient Participation (a non-political registered charity). Through association we have access to the network of groups across the country. Also available from the surgery are our 'Cookham Walks' wallet suggest donation of £5. 'Chair-based exercise video' £15, Short version £6, free leaflets on various health matters, our free PPG Newsletter and the Surgery Annual Report. We look forward to meeting you at a future event and would welcome your comments. |
