 To mark Hiroshima Day  members of the Maidenhead and Cookham CND group have issued the following:

We deplore the fact that Britain has in Trident a weapon of mass destruction – a weapon over which it has limited control.

We call on the government

1.      to decommission this weapon

2.      to cease development or collaboration in development of new systems of nuclear weaponry.
