Most people hate waste, eyesores or under-utilised developments, or buildings just rotting.
The enclosed Council asks for Public help - to score asap!

To be constructive & try to help:

1. What is status of Glory Mill site, Woburn? Does anyone know?

2. Some offices (like the one in photo) have plans for conversion to residential either submitted, or in progress.
( it is near to Bourne End centre/ station, with all infrastructure in pace, including pathways & car parking spaces already in place)
Do you know of any others?

3. What other Brownfield sites, or closed businesses( that sadly may have had to close during Pandemic) or other potential office conversions do you know of?

This is could be a win-win all around:
No vacant white elephants.
Re-use existing spaces fully and effectively ( importantly before further concreting of green fields/ natural spaces)
Yes, of course people need good and convenient places to live, so let us help the Council in their Brownfield space identification/utilisation push to see which spaces are appropriate for conversion/re-use.

Please read the Council article ( without getting too bogged down in acronyms/jargon) and include any details which help quantify potential use sites:
( eg whether empty Brownfield site/ commercial premises, vacant office space, ownership or contact details, how long site has been empty/vacant, or even photos to try and help)

Will Councils think again ( with a new 2021 hat on, given Pandemic has clearly changed goal posts) and look out for our Communities for next 25 years plus?

Come on Bourne End, Woburn & Cookham: Let us not miss an obvious open goal together here.
