The COOKHAMS FUND RAISING GROUP FOR THAMES HOSPICECARE

Wishing you Season's Greetings and best
wishes for the New Year.
With 2010 in mind, we thought it timely to
draw your attention to two events we have planned for next year, so you
can record the dates in your new diaries!
The first of these is a 'Golf
Day' on Friday 14th May 2010 at Winter Hill Golf Club in
Cookham. This is a new event for us but we are adopting a tried and
tested formula and it should be great fun. I have attached the
flyer which is self-explanatory and also a booking form so you can be
ahead of the game!! The idea is to get a golf team
together and then non-playing guests can join in for dinner that
evening at a cost of £25. Please spread the word to any golfers you
know, even if you don't play yourselves. click

The second event is the annual 'Gardens
Open' on Sunday 13th June 2010 in Cookham Dean. This is one
of our major fundraisers and we depend on your support to make it as successful
an event as last year. Please make a note of the
date and invite friends, family - and anyone else you can think of!
It is always a lovely way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon - strolling
around beautiful gardens and enjoying tea and those wonderful homemade
cakes!
We will announce other events as they
begin to take shape. The 'Singing from Scratch' concert
was so successful that this is likely to be repeated in the autumn.
