The WI Hall is available for
hire and has been newly refurbished. The facilities that are available are
a small, comfortable hall with carpets that can seat around sixty people,
along with a kitchen and toilets. The hall has good heating.
There are lots of chairs
available and also tables. It is an ideal place for talks and
meetings.
In addition it has been
used for birthday parties, wine tastings and many other gatherings of
various organisations. Before it was refurbished, it has even been
the setting for a BBC television series.
The kitchen has also recently been
refurbished and contains a cooker, a modern hot water heater for tea and
coffee and washing up facilities, plus food preparation areas.
The Hall also includes disabled toilet
facilities.
On fine days the garden outside can also
be used for teas and birthday parties. The garden is enclosed, so
children can be kept safe.
