OPEN
FORUM
– Cllr Woodbridge spoke from the floor regarding some complaints from
residents about the trees planted by Cookham Rise Primary School on their
playing field. He queried whether they had contravened their lease and
said that he understood that the extra third of an acre leased to the
school was to allow them to extend their football pitch. The playing field
was still part of the Alfred Major and as such the openness of the area
should be maintained. The Chairman asked the Clerk to look into this
matter.
1.

INTEREST: Apologies were received from
Cllr Ricardo. Cllr Fairlie’s husband extended her apologies by telephone
during the meeting. Cllr Brar offered apologies from Cllrs Brockwell and
Innes. Cllr Stretton queried the reasons for the apologies. Cllr Brar
stated that Cllr Ricardo’s wife had a doctor’s appointment, Cllr
Brockwell had been in hospital and Cllr Innes had flu. Declarations of
Interest were received from Cllr Brar who is a Borough Councillor and
reserves the right to change her mind at a later stage. Cllr Fry declared
a prejudicial interest in Pln Appn 07/00801; Cllr Stretton declared a
