Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE held at the

Community Room on Tuesday, 1st April 2008 commencing at 7.30 pm

 

PRESENT:       Cllr H.J. Woodbridge (Chairman), Cllr M. Wellman (Vice Chairman)

Cllrs M. Barnes, P. Brockwell, D. Fry, G. Harris, M. Innes, M-L. Kellaway,

R. Piercey, D. Ricardo, Jean Stretton and John Stretton.

 

Also present:    Seven members of the public.

OPEN FORUM The Chairman opened the meeting by advising some residents in the public gallery that this was a normal Council meeting. The Traffic and Transport volunteers would be formally approved in the Full Council meeting but it was not envisaged that any other details of their work would be discussed tonight. The Chairman stated that all were welcome to stay but could not speak once the meeting commenced.

 

1.                  APOLOGIES AND DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: Apologies were received from Cllr M. Brar and J. Hewitt. Cllr Coker apologised by email. Cllrs Harris, Piercey and Innes declared a personal interest in Pln Appn 08/00624. Cllr Woodbridge declared a personal interest in Pln Appn 08/00622. Cllr John Stretton declared an interest as a member of the Borough Planning Panel and reserved the right to change his mind at a later stage.
