 Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE held at the

Community Room on Tuesday, 6th April 2010 commencing at 7.30 pm

OPEN FORUM – Cllr M-J Saunders gave a status report on the Furze Platt School issue.  The Head of Furze Platt is concerned about the funding required for the additional 40 children of Cookham from feeder schools who are to take places at Furze Platt September 2010. This will also lead to additional funding requirement for the subsequent years additional intake of 40 children.  No decisions have been made to date, but there will be further discussions regarding catchment areas and future allocations.  Ms Julia Cox expressed concerns over the continuous funding requirement.
