Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE held at the

Community Room on Tuesday, 18th May 2010 commencing at 7.30 pm

ALSO PRESENT: Ms Sophie Flowers from the Maidenhead Advertiser; Ms Tricia Bridges, Head Teacher, Holy Trinity School; and five members of the public.

                 

 

OPEN FORUM – Ms Bridges gave a presentation regarding the proposed alterations to the school surroundings, explaining the reasoning for the additional space requirements.

 

  1. APOLOGIES AND DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: Apologies were received from Cllrs R Piercey, F Hewer, and M Barnes. Cllr John Stretton declared an interest as a member of the MDC panel and reserved the right to change his mind at any time.  Cllr Ricardo declared a personal interest in Planning Application 10/00903.

3.      APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on 4th  May 2010 were circulated and approved with no amendments

 

4.            CHAIRMAN’S SUBMISSIONS

The Chairman reported back on a meeting with Dave Perkins (RBWM) and his colleagues regarding the Causeway Risk Assessment.  Nine Councillors were present at this meeting and the information exchanged proved very constructive. 

 

The Chairman drew attention to the circulated information regarding the recycling initiative from RBWM and the provision of blue bins.

 

The Chairman noted that the Maidenhead Advertiser had printed a clarification of the provision of refreshments provided at the Annual Parish Meeting.

 

5.   TO APPROVE COMPUTER NETWORK INSTALLATION

Subject to receiving a revised quotation from ICYT Solutions, the installation will be approved at the next Full Council Meeting on1st June.

 

6.      PROPOSED VISIT TO HOLY TRINITY SCHOOL

Cllrs Fry and John Stretton  have agreed to visit the school and a suitable date will be organised by the Clerk.

 

The Meeting closed at 08.50 pm.
