Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE held at the

Community Room on Tuesday, 1st June 2010 commencing at 7.30 pm

IN ATTENDANCE: Mr and Mrs Spiers (planning applicants), Ms Sophie Flowers from the Maidenhead Advertiser.

OPEN FORUM – Mr Spiers spoke in explanation of his current planning application which was on the Agenda for consideration.

Cllr Hewer spoke from the floor to highlight the need for a public meeting to discuss the Lower road traffic situation and the advisability of collation of all relevant data prior to that meeting.

Cllr Ricardo spoke from the floor to note that most of the incidents on Lower Road were caused by bad driving and were not necessarily speed related.

Cllr Harris spoke from the floor to clarify the situation regarding the Rospa report on the Alfred Major Ground. There were no high risk faults identified by the report and any repairs that were required were being actioned immediately.
