Minutes of a Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, held at the Community Room on Tuesday, 22nd June 2010, commencing at 7.30 pm

There were no members of the public present.

 

OPEN FORUM – Cllr Woodbridge raised concerns about an overgrown hedge in Lower Road.  The Clerk reported that the relevant department at RBWM had been informed and that the cutting of the hedge would be carried out in the next two weeks.  The Clerk will chase RBWM.

Cllr Ricardo reported on a meeting he had attended at Holy Trinity School regarding the proposed building works there.  He raised ongoing concerns about the levels of traffic and speed in School Lane, and the increases that were likely as a result of the additional pupils at the school as well as the development at Badnalls Pit.

 

APOLOGIES AND DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Apologies were received from Cllrs M. Barnes, M. Brar, M. Innes,. P. Brockwell and John Stretton, who was at the Town Hall on Borough business.  Cllr Harris declared a prejudicial interest in Application 10/01188.  Cllr Ricardo declared a personal interest in Application 10/01166 and Cllr Coker declared a personal interest in Application 10/01025.

Approval of Planning Committee Meeting Minutes from 1st June 2010

The Minutes were circulated and approved without amendment on the proposal of Cllr Woodbridge and seconded by Cllr Kellaway.

 

 

CHAIRMANS SUBMISSIONS.

1.         The Chairman advised the Council of the decision of the Environment Agency to postpone work on the Marlow Flood Alleviation Scheme due to funding issues.

 

2.         The Chairman gave details of an email received on behalf of Tim Slaney regarding the consultation about the Local Development Framework and RBWM assurance that CPC will be kept informed of the progress and content of the Core Strategy.

 

 

The Meeting closed at 8.10 pm.
